This is just a little clarification on my rules.txt, because some people seem to need a little extra help understanding. Let's go down the list in order, shall we?
"[1] No CHEATING or HACKED CLIENTS whatsoever."
This means that you do not use mods, textures, sounds, resources, maps, tracers, clients OR GLITCHES if it puts you at an advantage against other players, being in combat or in gathering supplies of any sort (including, but not exclusive to, DIAMONDS). That means yes, the beloved 'tnt+minecart' trick or the classic 'piston+glowstone' trick are both bannable offenses. I will give warnings but depending on how much one has gained from such glitches will have impact on the severity of their punishment.
"[2] SPAMMING will get you Muted/Kicked/Tempbanned."
Spamming does not have a real value, so regardless if you believe that
"[3] TELEPORT SPAM is still spam, you will get kicked."
Pretty much same situation as above. If someone trustworthy claims to being spammed by you with teleports, then you will get kicked from the game. If you are a problem with this then I will personally tempban you. Remember, I can see commands on the console and I have it open while I'm working. (This also means you shouldn't try to frame someone to get them kicked or tempbanned because then the punishment will reflect back on you if you're caught).
"[4] For your sake, DO NOT ASK FOR OP."
This is mainly for the Newbies among us, but seriously. If someone asks me for rank I just want to punch my computer, and punching my computer means I can't watch console, and if I can't watch console then we all die. Poof.
"[5] Mods are players too, they WILL KILL YOU."
Fairly self explanatory, it's mostly for the noobs. But if you still don't get it, here. The mods are like power players. All they do is play normally and if they notice something odd, they handle the situation as they can with their amount of power (which includes /mute, /kick, /tempban, /ban, /jail and /broadcast) and then notify someone with bigger pants to take care of larger problems. So yeah, they'll kill you. Get over it.
"[6] Spawn is the only place you are safe. Watch your back."
A warning for the noobs that pvp is on once you leave spawn.
"[7] Admins are always watching, especially when you think you're alone."
"[8] Comply with an Owner or Admin's requests, or you will be jailed."
This is mainly to keep people paying attention. Some kids come online and they turn off chat and go to town mining and they don't even notice when an Admin is barking commands at them telling them to please answer how they found those diamonds so fast. So it's just saying if we ask a question, respond or sit in jail so you have nothing to do other than answer us.
"[9] Griefing/Raiding/Stealing/Lying are all allowed, BEWARE who you TRUST."
One time, I made friends with everyone who was powerful on a server. It was an honest friendship in nearly every case. We all loved eachother and shared stories and went on adventures together, it just never got old playing together! But one day me and my partner decided that we should rule the server (mainly his idea, just saying). But we went to each one of my homesets while everyone was offline and emptied each house. After each was totally empty, we would burn the remains and either fill it to crush someone logging in, or cover the floors with lava to burn them to death. We ended up having the largest treasure trove, and just two people to share it with. We took up the names Bonnie and Clyde and lived happily in our cave of terror under a small gulf off the coast of a tundra.
That was betrayal part one, for part two... well.. it was so sad. Long after the Great Raid, we gave back a large amount of items to fix the broken diamond economy in the server and to try to make amends with old pals, and we still lived in our tiny hidden home with a private stash of legendary items from the Raid. We ended up trusting one person, a girl that I know and had gone to school with. I allowed her to come and live with us in our tiny home, and she ended up teleporting someone into the home and we lost all had kept hidden. It wasn't her fault, though. She was a beginner to minecraft and she had seen someone requesting to teleport to her with a name beginning with an "S" and thought it was "Spazzgasmic". So I couldn't blame her, it was an accident.
Moral of the two stories, you could be betrayed by the best of friends, and sometimes they may not even know they are doing it. Be caaareful.

Spamming does not have a real value, so regardless if you believe that
HELLO
HELLO
HELLO
isn't spamming, someone with authority might think it is. So instead of arguing over being muted for something, just don't do it. I trust the people I have given power to do the right thing, and I trust you to report to me on these here forums if they aren't. Other than that, if you happen to be dumb enough to CONTINUE spamming after the duration of your mute has ended, then you deserve not only a slap but you will get KICKED as a sort of faster warning of "STOP TALKING, DILWEED". And if it seems to go on further then you will get tempbanned. If you believe that your tempban is too long or it is unfair, feel free to post on here for that as well. One final note, I have the Authority to kick you or tempban you and just totally skip the mute or kick steps altogether, so let's be civil at least when I'm around.HELLO
HELLO
